Q: Do I need to come with a partner?
A: No, we will partner you up at the class. However, if you do bring along a friend to dance with and you want to stay together for the whole class just advise the teachers and this is fine.
Q: What should I wear?
A: It's easier to say what not to wear! Don't wear anything too tight. It will restrict your movement. Any clothes with Lycra™ in the fabric are recommended for ease of movement.
Q: What type of shoes should I wear?
A: A smooth soled shoe is best, with heels for the ladies, but not too high, ideally like a character type shoe.
Don't wear slip on shoes or mules. You could also try the special trainer type dance shoe developed by Bloch, you can find them in Covent Garden.
Dancia International sells all sorts of dance shoes for Salsa & other types of dance, they have a shop in Oxfordshire:

Q: Will I feel OK coming on my own?
A: Many people come to the Salsa classes on their own, at Viva Salsa we strive to create a friendly atmosphere and help you feel comfortable.
